McCann wants to take Gonçalo Amaral back to court

Kate and Gerry McCann have recently lost the appeal against former inspector of the Judicial Police Gonçalo Amaral and may even be forced to compensate him.

At the end of January, Madeleine McCann's parents learned that they had lost their appeal to the Supreme Court against Gonçalo Amaral.

The couple wanted to sue the former Inspector of the Judiciary Police for claiming in their book that they were responsible for the disappearance of the girl in 2007 in Praia da Luz.

As it happens, Gonçalo Amaral may even claim compensation for damages, such as demanding that he be paid the costs of defending him in court.

Now, according to The Independent, the McCanns will use the proceeds from the book 'Find Madeleine' to bring the former PJ inspector back to court in an attempt to prove that neither Gerry nor Kate Responsibility for the daughter's disappearance.
